VVWRA's Kristi Casteel was given the CWEA's 5S award at their annual conference in Palm Springs. The 5S award recognizes individuals active in protecting the water environment through participation in Local, State, and/or Federal sponsored activities. Kristi has served on the local CWEA Board for many years and has volunteered countless hours to improve the continuing education of wastewater workers while promoting the field as a career opportunity to young people.
