The Hesperia Subregional Water Reclamation Facility was named the California Water Environment Association's (CWEA) Tertiary Plant of the Year.

Tertiary awards are particularly prestigious because they focus on the highest level of treatment—producing recycled water that is safe for irrigation and environmental reuse. It’s a huge win for Hesperia and the VVWRA’s sustainability goals.
